Saturday 30th January

Saturday 30thIn the morning we went to the Milk Market, which is a place where you can buy food and many other things. People there were very kind and they gave us some things for free. Then we could stay in the city centre or go back to the university so, many of us stayed in the centre where we had lunch. Then at 6.30pm we gathered in the East Gate to take a couch to a concert which started at 8.30. The band was really good and they played songs from their first album of irish folk music. We had a really good time there. Then, when the concert had finished we came back to our houses.Marina Rivero and Federico Yaroslavsky.

Friday 29th February

Hi everyone!!! It’s kind of cold here, you know?, well, on Friday we woke up early in order to go to Connemara (far away from
Limerick), there we met some Irish students, really nice guys! They looked older than us and they were only 16 years old!.Their first language is Gaelic, And their second is English, we have recorded a short video of an Irish girl counting from 1 to 10 in Gaelic and then in Spanish, very funny!.
We made an exchange of cultures, we showed them the Dulce de Leche, Mate (They didn’t like it at all!!, it was really bitter) and some Tango (Tomas Rebord and Laura Dominguez were in charge of that, they made a really nice performance), we also played a couple of rock songs.
The Irish students played some songs too, using the tin-whistle (small flute), a violin and accordeon!, also a small Irish guy sang a lovely song! (its recorded, of course).
So we are having a really good time! :D
See ya, people! J

24th January 2010

23 and 24 January, by Tomas Rebord and Violeta Alustiza. We
started our trip with a delay in Buenos Aires, because of a problem with Urugay's air space. We finally took off about half past two, and we got delayed again as we reached Sao pablo. We arrived at Heathrow airport (London) the following day at 10 AM, London time, we went down... it was pretty cold. After that we ate at a Mcdonald's, and entered the smaller flight at the afternoon. We finally arrived to Ireland, and travelled with a little bus to the UN's parking lot, we waited until our families picked us up and met them. Even though it was a long day, Violeta really enjoyed it.
